Ship Shape

After months of working on this ship-ladder to access the guest room loft, I finally got it installed.  Many thanks to my buddy Mark Danna who worked with me in his garage many a weekend to get it done.  He's got the fancy-smancy woodworking equipment that I don't have to make some of the ladder parts.  Like the many precise mortise and tendon joints in very hard white oak for the ladder rungs.  Thanks Mark!

It was great to have you do the first quality control check on the ship ladder Vanessa!

I'll feel more comfortable once the safety hatch is in place! I know it's not far, but I do have a weird fear of falling...
