enginnering goofs

I'm getting to the construction phase on our home that sometimes reveals, uh, issues.
Things that looked good on paper but didn't work out in the three dimensions of real life. So far I've not encountered anything too serious, so I can present these pictures of some pretty serious goof-ups and laugh... for now.

Rats!

There once was a Wimberley mouse

who thought he should live in a house.

He searched high & low and let out a squeal

when he found chainsaw yogi's great deal.

Free room and board were such a delight

until the landlady saw him one night.

A special treat he found one night late

soon settled the poor mouse's fate.
